The Opportunity

We're hiring our first Business Development Manager — a relationship-driven sales professional who will own new client growth across Greenville. You'll be in the field, meeting business owners where they are, learning what they're struggling with, and recommending the right solution from our tiered service model.

This is a full-cycle role. You'll prospect, build relationships, present solutions, and close — independently. No hand-holding, no committee decisions. You bring the right businesses in, we deliver the results that keep them.

What You'll Do

• Build and work a territory of local Greenville businesses across service industries
• Meet with business owners in person to understand their goals, challenges, and growth stage
• Match prospects to the right BBG service tier and present solutions confidently
• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed agreement
• Maintain a clean pipeline and report on activity and results weekly
• Represent BBG in the community — networking events, referral relationships, local partnerships

Compensation

• Base salary: $40,000
• 10% commission on all setup fees at close
• 10% monthly commission on new retainer revenue for 12 months
• Performance accelerators increasing commission to 12–15% after monthly quota is hit
• On-target earnings: $75,000–$95,000 in year one, uncapped for high performers

How commission works:

• Commission is earned on deals you source and close
• Commission is paid after the client pays BBG
• Retainer commission is paid monthly for the first 12 months of each new client
• Accelerators apply after monthly quota is hit

What You're Selling

Upon learning about the users goal, you will offer them a discerning solution from our three clear tiers — You'll have a simple one-page reference sheet that walks any business owner through the options in under 10 minutes.
