What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Sign Installer position at Brand Resource Inc dba Signage?
Duties
-Responsible for leading the completion of daily or weekly sign installation assignments in a timely, efficient, effective and safe manner with customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal. This is a field-based roles requiring regular travel to customer installation sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide installation processes
- Collaborate with other departments and contractors to coordinate installation activities
- Install a wide variety of sign types including pylons, building signs, ADA signage and vinyl graphics.
- Electrical repairs and service including LED retrofits
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Previous experience as a lead installer is REQUIRED
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of minor electrical or service experience or combination of electrical and service experience.
- MUST MAINTAIN ACTIVE CDL B LICENSE
- Maintain active DOT Certification
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a helper
- Basic electrical knowledge especially in regards to lamps, ballasts, sockets and primary voltages. Troubleshooting to determine issues and solutions.
- Understanding of hand tools, welding, minor electrical, aerial lifts and cranes.
- Problem solver – ability to identify root cause and implement solutions.
- Reading comprehension – understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including materials used and work performed
- Ability to complete forms and gather required information completely and accurately
- Willingness learn and perform new skills
- Ability to use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Basic knowledge of computers and electronic hardware.
