Job Overview

Our wood paddle assembly team has the technical skills needed to glue, shape and finish our amazing line of wood paddles. As a Wood Paddle Assembler, you will be hand making high-end line wood canoe and kayak paddles. Every person on the wood line team plays an important role. The process requires technical skill combined with an artisan touch. Assemblers maintain a tidy work area and follow detailed health and safety guidelines. Previous experience with wood and woodworking is a plus. “Work that doesn’t feel like work” because you are part of a friendly and collaborative team. Positive attitudes and pride in craftsmanship are part of the culture here at Branches. A love for paddling and the outdoors is a plus. This is a seasonal / temporary position with the possibility of Full-Time permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Build canoe and kayak paddles including gluing, shaping/sanding and finishing
- Maintain a bright and clean environment
- Maintain a high attention to detail and quality
Flexible Scheduling Options
- Full time: 40-50 hours per week
- 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day
- Part time: 10-40 hours per week with flexible hours
- Overtime available
