Branch House Family Justice Center is seeking a passionate, mission-driven leader to serve as its next Executive Director.
Branch House provides comprehensive, trauma-informed services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, and other violent crimes through a collaborative, multidisciplinary Family Justice Center model.
The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of Branch House Family Justice Center and is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, operations, financial management, community partnerships, and sustainability of the organization. The Executive Director works closely with staff, the Board of Directors, multidisciplinary partners, grant funders, and the community to ensure high-quality, survivor-centered services.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and collaborative leader who is passionate about serving survivors, strengthening community partnerships, and continuing the growth and impact of Branch House within the region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Administration
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Branch House programs and services
- Supervise and support staff, contractors, interns, and volunteers
- Foster a positive, trauma-informed, collaborative workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, grant requirements, and applicable laws/regulations
- Work closely with the Board of Directors and assist with board communication, meetings, and strategic planning
Program Oversight
- Oversee Family Justice Center operations and coordinated service delivery
- Maintain strong multidisciplinary partnerships with law enforcement, healthcare systems, prosecution, advocacy agencies, and community organizations
- Support and oversee coordinated community response initiatives including CCR and high-risk domestic violence and sexual assault teams
- Ensure survivor-centered, trauma-informed services are maintained across all programs
Financial & Grant Management
- Oversee organizational budgeting and financial sustainability
- Manage grant applications, reporting, compliance, and monitoring requirements
- Collaborate with grant managers, accountants, and funders
- Assist with fundraising, donor engagement, sponsorships, and community support initiatives
Community Relations & Outreach
- Serve as a public representative and spokesperson for Branch House
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
- Coordinate public awareness campaigns, media engagement, and community education efforts
- Represent Branch House at meetings, trainings, conferences, and public events
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in social work, criminal justice, nonprofit management, public administration, or related field
- Experience in nonprofit leadership, victim services, program management, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with grant management and budgeting preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and coordinated community response models preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners and community stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
