Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Forman in Construction to lead and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a pivotal team leader, you will coordinate daily operations, manage subcontractors and crew members, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint reading, and site supervision will drive project success from inception to completion. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to plans, schedules, and safety standards.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction and support.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
• Manage project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to meet deadlines.
• Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating and budgeting processes.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications; utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers on contract management, change orders, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
• Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, incident logs, and progress updates.
• Support management in procurement activities using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools; review schematics and technical documents for accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising construction sites with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, contracts administration, and construction estimating processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; experience with construction site safety standards (OSHA).
• Supervising experience leading teams of diverse tradespeople; excellent management and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with construction site equipment testing tools such as Ohmmeter; ability to troubleshoot electrical systems when needed.
• Strong understanding of pipeline projects or heavy infrastructure is a plus.
• Certification in OSHA safety standards; relevant licenses or certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of construction management software like Primavera P6 or Primavera is highly desirable.
