Brambly Park is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team!!
We are looking for experienced managers, whether as an AGM or having extensive manager experience and ready to move into the next role. The AGM will directly oversee the head bartender regarding beer and liquor orders and will be responsible for ensuring the bar inventory pars are maintained on a weekly basis.
Our AGM assists our General Manager by overseeing the entirety of the location and make sure that the restaurant is set up for success every day. They will have bottom line responsibility and accountability for the fiscal health of the restaurant and is responsible for the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the floor by interacting with guests and staff to ensure smooth, consistent service.
- Liaise with BoH to ensure that communication between FoH and BoH is ongoing and effective.
- Schedule all FOH employees and monitor overtime
- Oversee tip reporting and assist with payroll efforts
- Daily walk through to inspect the restaurant and park and ensure upkeep of all physical assets.
- Ensure FoH equipment maintenance and cleanliness by overseeing bar and service teams daily cleaning duties and scheduling repairs when necessary.
- Guide, direct and train service staff; observe the flow of guests, and provide assistance when necessary
- Communicate with kitchen regarding pace of service, special needs, and general guest satisfaction
- Hire and Train the staff to have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine list and service standards
- Maintain a healthy, happy and productive work environment for employees to foster loyalty and dedication
- Attend weekly operations and marketing meetings.
