The primary role of the Marketing Assistant will be to support the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with all marketing activities undertaken by Bramble. Working across the board from brand awareness to events, it’s a very varied role (trust us, no two days will be the same) and you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity.

You should be passionate about helping to communicate Bramble’s unique and ground-breaking technology through social media and in other formats. You should be confident working with team members from across the business to create and deliver content for all channels. While you will have constant support from the Marketing Manager, you should be capable of developing and delivering ideas of your own. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the company and feel confident to manage external contractors.

Job Description

Principal Accountabilities

  • Supports and collaborates with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver clear and consistent brand and messaging across all areas of our business.
  • Play a key role in communicating with our audience, to raise the profile through the use of media and marketing techniques.
  • Works closely with Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with large projects and organising all elements of external events.
  • Supports with external contractor relationships to manage and monitor activity, delivery & budget.
  • Identify and manage content creators to align with our marketing activities (Interviews, videos, photography, events, newsletter, blogs, social media posts), ensuring brand consistency.
  • Maintain website, with news, adverts, posts and changes
  • Compiles, analyses, and reports marketing data via social media.

Person Specification

  • A keen eye for detail is essential
  • Excellent written English is a given, as is creative flair
  • Proactive, reliable and able to meet deadlines
  • Highly organised with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to prioritise and change tack when needed
  • A passion and interest for climate action is desirable

Qualifications

Essential

  • A passionate enthusiastic approach to your work and all things brand and marketing.
  • At least 1 years’ experience working in a similar role.
  • A degree or similar qualification in a relevant field (social media, digital marketing)
  • Great interpersonal skills which allow you to work well with team members from around the business as well as external partners.

Desirable

  • Photoshop or InDesign skills that allow you to create professional assets using our established brand guidelines.
  • Experience of managing multiple social media channels, growing and engaging with the community of followers.
  • Knowledge of CRM software such as HubSpot.
