Automotive Store Manager — Lafayette, LA
Stop & Go Car Care – Home of Brakes For Less is hiring an experienced Automotive Store Manager to lead our thriving Lafayette location.
We are looking for a proven leader who can take full ownership of the store, build a strong team, create an outstanding customer experience, and consistently produce results. This is not a position for someone who needs to be reminded what to do. You will be trusted to lead the operation, uphold our standards, solve problems, and drive the store forward.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and hold the entire store team accountable
- Create an organized, professional, high-energy work environment
- Convert incoming calls and customer visits into scheduled work
- Present inspection results and repair recommendations clearly
- Ensure every vehicle receives a complete 27-point inspection
- Maintain strong car count, average repair order, and sales performance
- Manage workflow, productivity, parts ordering, returns, and inventory
- Verify repairs before vehicles are returned to customers
- Recruit, train, and develop technicians and service team members
- Protect customer trust and resolve concerns professionally
- Maintain a clean, safe, and properly operated facility
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive management or service-advisor experience
- Demonstrated sales and leadership ability
- Strong understanding of automotive repair operations
- Confidence discussing repairs and closing legitimate recommendations
- Ability to coach employees and enforce standards consistently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable being measured by store performance
- Valid driver’s license

Compensation
Commission-based compensation with a $600 weekly guarantee. Strong performers have significant earning potential based on store results.
