About the Position

Braker's Market is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our Grocery & Bulk Foods Department. This is primarily a daytime position focused on packaging bulk food products, stocking shelves, helping customers, and maintaining a clean, organized department.

This position requires reliable daytime availability. It can be a great fit for homeschooled students, college students with daytime flexibility, or students in work-study programs—but everyone who can meet the daytime schedule is encouraged to apply.

Schedule & Availability

• Primarily daytime shifts during store hours
• Flexible scheduling available
• Typical shifts range from 4–8 hours
• Reliable daytime availability is required
• Some Saturday availability required (approximately one Saturday every 3–4 weeks)

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Package, label, and prepare bulk food products for retail sale
• Receive, stock, rotate, and merchandise grocery and bulk food products
• Keep shelves, displays, and work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate with team members to support daily store operations
• Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds or more
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to safely use ladders when necessary

Position begins in August. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have reliable daytime availability.
