About the Position

Braker's Market is looking for a dependable, customer-focused team member to join our Café Team. This position focuses on preparing sandwiches, soups, drinks, and café items, assisting customers, maintaining food safety standards, and keeping the café clean, organized, and running efficiently.

Schedule & Availability

• Daytime and evening shifts available
• Flexible scheduling available
• Typical shifts range from 4–8 hours
• Some Saturday availability required (approximately one Saturday every 3–4 weeks)

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently, including sandwiches, breakfast items, coffee drinks, and café specials
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, allergy awareness, and food handling procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café area
• Rotate, date, and store food and supplies properly
• Provide friendly, welcoming service and create a positive customer experience
• Follow procedures for inventory, spoilage, restocking, and equipment use
• Work efficiently with team members to maintain café flow and quality during busy periods
• Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds or more
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to safely use ladders when necessary

Pay $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have reliable availability.
