The Opportunity
The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, lifecycle and commercial growth of a mature, multi-product portfolio, while also supporting new product launches
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong strategic thinking, commercial insight and the ability to independently drive initiatives from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy and lifecycle management across a complex portfolio and multiple SKUs
- Develop annual marketing plans and strategies to drive growth within established products
- Identify market, customer and competitive opportunities and translate insights into action
- Lead and support new product launches and commercialization initiatives
- Partner closely with Sales, Clinical, Marketing, R&D and Regulatory
- Use CRM, market data and customer insights to inform product strategy
- Develop positioning, messaging, sales tools and commercial programs
- Monitor product performance and recommend strategies to accelerate growth
- Serve as a senior product resource across the organization
- Mentor or provide guidance to other Product Management team members as appropriate
The strongest candidate will have:
- Proven Product Management experience in medical device, biologics, biomaterials or another clinically focused industry
- Experience managing multiple products/SKUs and mature portfolios
- Strong experience with product lifecycle management and commercial strategy
- New product launch experience
- Experience developing annual marketing plans
- Strong analytical and market-oriented thinking
- Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A proactive, highly organized “driver” mentality
