Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

📍 Fully Remote Opportunity (Candidates MUST be based in Austin, TX)

💵 $60-65/hour DOE

We’re working with a growing company in the healthcare industry that is looking to bring on a Senior Financial Analyst on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This position will report to the Director, FP&A and will closely support the COO on operationally focused financial analytic initiatives including operational forecasting, headcount/man-power planning, SOW analysis, and trend analysis for utilization & project level capitalizations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in a SaaS and/or Healthcare environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Periodically review capitalized labor costs on software development projects insuring the accuracy.
• Operational forecasting, budgeting and monthly review
• Assist in development and implementation of pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market trends
• Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed initiatives to aid in decision-making processes
• Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ad-hoc financial and operating reports, report packages, dashboards, analyses, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Analyze revenue, cost, and margin across service lines, clients, and departments.
• Evaluate costs to deliver services, including implementation, support, and engineering functions.
• Monitor productivity metrics such as utilization, ticket volumes, and issue resolution efficiency.
• Translate operational drivers into financial projections and identify operational inefficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA or advanced certification (highly preferred)
• 5 years of progressive financial analysis experience
• Experience in the SaaS industry with additional experience in healthcare being preferred
• Experience in analyzing service delivery organizations
• Experience with NetSuite, including the BI tools and Budget/Forecast module
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Sage 500 or another older version of Sage (Sage Intacct does not qualify)
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Tableau
• Experience working successfully in a remote environment
