We are seeking an experienced Interim Staff Accountant to support a critical accounting project focused on reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and escheatment research. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in reviewing financial records, analyzing outstanding transactions, and ensuring accurate accounting treatment across multiple entities. Responsibiliti

• esPerform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and entitie
• s.Review and analyze intercompany invoices to ensure proper company and vendor allocation
• s.Investigate and research uncleared checks and outstanding transaction
• s.Determine appropriate disposition of uncleared checks, including write-offs, void and reissue activity, or remittance to applicable state
• s.Support escheatment compliance efforts across multiple state
• s.Apply strong debit and credit knowledge to resolve accounting discrepancie
• s.Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation for accurac
• y.Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize, reconcile, and validate financial dat
• a.Cross-reference accounting records and supporting schedules to identify inconsistencie
• s.Collaborate with accounting leadership to address backlog items and meet project deadline
• s.Maintain accurate documentation of research findings and accounting conclusion
