ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot automation hardware, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotics systems to maximize plant KPIs.
- Develop, modify, and optimize control software for Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and process control.
- Evaluate and integrate automation technologies and new equipment into manufacturing operations.
- Manage capital budgets, monitor expenses, and support procurement of automation equipment.
- Document hardware and software configurations, maintain backups, and ensure system stability.
- Create and update electrical drawings using AutoCAD; support technical training for staff and management.
- Research emerging automation technologies and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize work requests, work orders, and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field.
- 3 years’ industrial automation experience with proven abilities in Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
- Experience managing capital budgets, expenses, and procurement for automation systems.
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and their application in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawings.
- Strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA with no sponsorship requirements in the future.
