AR Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Our team is working with a leading building materials company in the Frederick, CO area to support the Accounts Receivable department with AR & cash collections. This is a great team with a values driven culture that enjoys having fun and supporting each other, while getting the job done!
Compensation: $28-32/hr
Duration: 3-6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Frederick, CO
Accounts Receivable:
- Own the collections process and accelerate cash collections
- Manage customer aging reports and prioritize collection activities
- Reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow
- Build relationships with builders, contractors, and customers
- Conduct proactive outreach and collection calls
Operational Support:
- Analyze AR trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop master database of customer payment terms
Assist with Accounts Payable / Vendor Management:
- Support invoice processing and AP operations as needed
MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of Accounts Receivable, Collections experience
- Experience reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Proven success improving cash flow through aggressive but professional collections efforts
- Experience managing customer payment terms, collections strategies, aging reports, and account reconciliation
- Experience working with construction, building products, home services, manufacturing, distribution, or project-based industries
- Experience utilizing accounting systems and reporting tools
PREFERRED:
- Construction, custom home builder, building materials, stone, flooring, cabinetry, or related industry experience
- Accounts Payable experience
- Purchasing or procurement background
- Experience negotiating vendor terms and payment arrangements
- QuickBooks Online experience
