About the Role:
A large reputable organization in Financial Services industry is urgently hiring 2 Accounting Analysts on an interim basis to assist with yearend audit. This role is critical in supporting external reporting accuracy and compliance through a process called Completeness Inaccuracy, which involves validating key reports used for SEC and regulatory filings. You will work with established procedures and artifacts, ensuring there are no gaps in reporting and that annual audits run smoothly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Validate key external reporting documents annually to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Set up and maintain artifacts used for SEC and regulatory reporting
- Follow written procedures to execute tasks with precision and consistency
- Run queries in Oracle ERP (or similar systems) and extract data for reconciliation
- Reconcile and validate reports using Excel and ERP data
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm data integrity and resolve discrepancies
- Validate and reconcile financial data for regulatory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Use ERP systems and Excel for data extraction and validation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- 3 years of Accounting experience
- 3 years of data reconciliations experience dealing with large data sets
- Experience working with large ERP systems: Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, NetSuite, MS Dynamics
- Advanced excel skills (navigating spreadsheets, large data sets, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter who can reach out to key internal people to validate what they need.
