Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with a strong emphasis on UX Research to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of conducting comprehensive user research to inform design decisions. You will play a critical role in enhancing user experience across our digital platforms, ensuring that our products are not only visually appealing but also user friendly and effective.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design strategies.
• Develop user personas, user journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to create cohesive and effective design solutions.
• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results to continuously improve user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design process.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall growth of the design team.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in UX Research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups.
• Solid understanding of user centered design principles and best practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret user data to inform design decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with front end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience in designing for accessibility and inclusive design practices.
• Knowledge of analytics tools to track user behavior and engagement.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong focus on UX Research.
• A portfolio showcasing your design process, research findings, and final deliverables.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
