What We’re Looking For
- Dependable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, professional attitude and polished appearance
- Interest in natural hair and protective styling
- Ability to assist with shampooing, blowouts, detangling, and prep work
- Prior salon or assistant experience preferred (but not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist stylists with client prep, braiding setup, and clean-up
- Greet clients and ensure a welcoming, organized environment
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and stations throughout the day
- Learn and support with sectioning, parting, and finishing styles
- Takedown protective hair styles with patience and care
- Help manage product inventory and restock supplies as needed
Skills & Growth Opportunities
- Hands-on training in protective styling and braid techniques
- Must know how to shampoo natural hair with patience
- Education in scalp care, product knowledge, and client management
