YOUR IMPACT

The Director of Omnichannel plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing unified customer experience and commerce strategy across all DTC revenue channels. This role oversees the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of all digital commerce activities and marketplaces, with a focus on increasing website traffic, improving conversion rates, maximizing average order value, and managing margin performance. You will serve as a steward of the Brahmin customer journey, ensuring consistency, profitability and operational excellence while driving growth across eCommerce, retail stores, marketplaces and emerging channels. This position is considered hybrid and requires in-office time located at our Corporate Headquarters in Fairhaven, MA.


WHAT YOU'LL OWN

 Omnichannel leadership and strategy:

  • Own the omnichannel business strategy and performance across eCommerce, retail stores, wholesale, marketplaces and emerging sales channels.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth while balancing customer acquisition, retention, inventory productivity and margin performance.
  • Develop and execute integrated commercial strategies that create seamless customer experience across owned and operated channels.
  • Lead annual planning forecasting and budgeting processes across omnichannel initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure overall business health, channel contribution, customer lifetime value, retention, conversion, productivity, and profitability.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through customer insights, market trends competitive analysis and emerging technologies.

Customer Experience and Channel Integration


  • Own the entire eCommerce function, including the end-to-end customer journey (design, aesthetics, content, navigation, information architecture, branding/marketing, performance, and functionality.
  • Translate customer behavior and channel insights into action—optimizing site experience, merchandising, campaigns, subscriptions and loyalty/rewards to improve conversion, AOV, and revenue. 
  • Partner with Retail and Wholesale leadership to ensure alignment between channel strategies and customer expectations.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets through strategic planning and tactical execution.
  • Advanced Analytics skillset to drive strategic planning, testing, customer insights and performance reports including Google Analytics and other Ecommerce data platforms. Ability to analyze eCommerce performance and metrics, generate regular performance reports, and use insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Own the eCommerce technology roadmap, including Shopify, Shopify App integration, and ERP connectivity, and supporting technology platforms.

Analytics, Insights and Financial Management

  • Leverage analytics to uncover customer insights identify opportunities and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Analyze channel performance, key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, sessions, conversion rates, sales, promotions, pricing, loyalty programs, marketing effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Identify and roadmap areas that require improvement.
  • Manage channel forecasting, budgeting, revenue pacing, tracking tools, promotional effectiveness, inventory productivity and profitability metrics.
  • Manage weekly revenue reporting and planning against budget: pacing to budget, discounts, refunds. Recommend pivots to email cadence and promotions
  • Partner with Finance and Planning teams to develop long-term growth plans and investment strategies.
  • Lead website strategy including SEO, GEO/AEO and CRO, to enhance site visibility, improve search performance, and optimize the overall customer experience across the digital platform.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, creative, IT, and planning teams to ensure a unified approach to online business growth and build dynamic strategies to improve site and email performance.
  • Lead, develop and mentor high-performing e-commerce and omnichannel team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve defined targets. Provide mentorship for further career growth for individuals and teams
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and areas for business development through ongoing market and industry trend analysis. Remain agile to respond to important strategic industry shifts.
  • Establish and manage budgets, P&L, and resource allocation for eCommerce initiatives to support the strategic initiatives to drive sales and achieve profitability targets.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, analytics or a related field is required; MBA preferred, a master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10 years of experience progressive experience in eCommerce retail, wholesale, or omnichannel leadership roles
  • Proven success managing multi-channel businesses with responsibility for revenue growth and profitability.
  • Extensive knowledge of Shopify, ERP systems, analytics platforms, CRM tools and modern commerce technologies. 
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel retail strategy, customer experience, internet best practices, digital marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, and CRM.
  • Demonstrated ability to specify and communicate technical requirements to development teams.
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns, backlinking strategies, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, interpret, and act on data related to search, conversion, spend, and creative performance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging eCommerce tools and technologies.

  • Strong business judgment, prioritization, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Track record of successful project management and execution of large-scale eCommerce initiatives.

Salary : $150,000 - $280,000
