What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grading Foreman position at Bradshaw Clearing and Grading?
Bradshaw Clearing and Grading is seeking an Equipment Operator Foreman to oversee 3-4 men. Experience should be atleast 5 years. Task include: Demolition, clearing, rough grade, fine grade and using topcom gps.
Bradshaw Clearing and Grading is a locally owned and operated site construction that has been in business for 25 years. Bradshaw Clearing and Grading is based out of Rose Hill, NC. Services developers, general contractors throughout southeastern North Carolina.
Responsibilites/Duties
*Overseeing Crew
*Follow, implement and enforce safety policies, (job safety meetings, proper use of safety equipment, compliance subs/suppliers, etc.)
*Have a working knowledge of each crew members skill level, ability to learn and receive information
*Organization skills are a must
*Performs work in an efficient manner, using schedules and effective decision making skills
*Ensures that all equipment policies prior to using it on a job site
*Recognizes potential safety risks on job site and rectifies risks per company policy
Tasks Include:
*Read and understand plans
*Set up and run gps
*Read and analyze grade stakes
*Manage and direct crew in an efficient manner
*Check and adjust grade
*Operate equipment- demolition and fine grade
Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma or general education
*Valid drivers license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
