This is a high-impact opportunity to join a specialized Data Center Design team supporting complex, large-scale power infrastructure projects.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (PE preferred) with strong medium and high voltage experience to support the design, analysis, and documentation of electrical systems for data center microgrids and power generation infrastructure.

This role will focus on mission-critical power generation and distribution systems. Some commissioning and site support responsibilities will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review medium and high voltage power generation and distribution systems
• Support microgrid system design for data center applications
• Perform electrical system studies including:
• Short Circuit
• Arc Flash
• Coordination
• Load Flow
• Harmonics
• Fault & Transient Studies
• Utilize ETAP (or similar software) for modeling and analysis
• Develop single-line diagrams, area classifications, BOMs, and technical reports
• Prepare grounding, protection, and power system documentation
• Support commissioning and on-site troubleshooting when required
• Provide cross-functional engineering support
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
• Minimum 2 years designing medium and high voltage power generation systems (including distribution line design)
• Strong knowledge of IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and API standards
• Experience performing electrical studies using ETAP or similar tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• EPC project experience
• Experience with power generation controls and automation
• Experience programming Digital Multifunction Relays
• Experience developing relay logic, protection, and coordination schemes
• Industrial automation installation or troubleshooting experience

This role is ideal for a senior electrical engineer who:

• Has designed MV/HV systems supporting industrial or mission-critical loads
• Is comfortable owning electrical studies from concept through documentation
• Understands microgrid architecture and distributed generation
