We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead a residential/commercial installation team for a growing client in Western North Carolina. This is a leadership role for a hands-on professional who can manage projects, lead teams, and ensure high-quality installations from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage daily operations of the residential HVAC installation team
- Schedule and coordinate installation jobs for on-time completion
- Supervise, train, and mentor install technicians and crews
- Ensure all work meets company standards, manufacturer specs, and local/state codes
- Serve as the licensed HVAC qualifier for the company and ensure full compliance
- Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks
- Troubleshoot complex installation issues and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with sales and service teams for smooth project execution
- Oversee inventory, equipment, and materials
- Enforce safety standards and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
- Active HVAC License (REQUIRED) – must be fully licensed and able to qualify jobs
- Proven experience in residential HVAC installation
- Previous leadership/management experience in HVAC or construction
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation best practices
- Familiarity with local codes, permits, and inspections
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Experience managing multiple crews or high install volume
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Experience with CRM/job scheduling software (ServiceTitan highly preferred)
