Director

Bradley Hills Village (VHV), a non-profit organization in Bethesda, MD of neighbors helping neighbors to build a vibrant intergenerational community through social, educational, and recreational activities as well as provide some direct services to reduce social isolation and help members flourish as they age in the neighborhoods and home they love, serves over 100 households and 160 members. BHV is seeking a high energy consult with strong organizational skills to serve as a part-time Director responsible for enhancing the smooth operation of the Village, especially through BHV's website, which is our principal communication and data platform. The Director has responsibility for communication and marketing, helping with event planning and registrations, coordinating volunteers who offer services to members, and representing BHV in public roles.RequirementsExperience with website management; excellent writing and organizational skills; high energy, flexibility, creativity, and attentiveness to details; and a proactive problem solver. The BHV Director needs to coordinate effectively with BHV leaders who manage most of the BHV activities and operations, produce a monthly newsletter and an annual report, develop productive relationships with other village directors and the state and county representatives that support villages, and be the warm and friendly face to the members in general.BenefitsThe position is a consultant without benefits.
