Primary Function:
The Business Systems Analyst – Oracle will work in conjunction with the Oracle IT Team and financial business users, configure, build, design, and maintain Oracle EBS solutions and processes that support the Sales, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, and corporate teams at Bradford White Corporation
Responsibilities:
- Configure Oracle EBS system and processes to enhance and optimize overall capabilities
- Work with IT Business partner team and financial business users to improve system processes through the Oracle platform and other third-party solutions
- Maintain and support core processes such as sales, order management, advanced pricing, and EDI
- Develop new capabilities and solutions to improve overall Oracle EBS solution stack
- Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues
- Assists in recommending, designing, testing and implementing system upgrades and improvements
- Work with Business Intelligence teams to source and leverage data from Oracle solution
- Collaborate with business leaders on requirements gathering and analysis of the departmental duties and reporting needs.
- Develop technical specifications and documentation for custom solutions
- Develop procedures and processes for structure and consistency around development, testing, production deployment and maintenance for all code released
- Coordinate end user testing by business users and follow formal methodology on documenting approval
- Diagnoses the root causes of system issues using problem solving skills.
- Coordinate with peers in IT and management in IT on any new processes defined in your job function.
- Participate in departmental meetings on status and prioritization of work assignments
- Work with IT risk and compliance to ensure safeguarding of sensitive data
- Maintain keys skills and experience related to current and emerging trends in Oracle solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience working with the Oracle EBS platform.
- 5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Techno-Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) configuration, design, and enhancements, with a strong focus on Order Management, Accounts Receivable, and Advanced Pricing modules
- Expert knowledge of order entry, fulfillment processing, drop shipments, intercompany transactions, Order Management configurations, and the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
- Deep understanding of Advanced Pricing, including qualifiers, modifiers, the pricing engine, and troubleshooting complex pricing issues, including context and attribute definitions.
- Strong knowledge of AutoInvoice, receipt application, standard Accounts Receivable configuration, and reporting
- Strong proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL to write queries and stored procedures to troubleshoot data issues, validate system behavior, and develop backend solutions
- Experience in one or more formal Oracle EBS upgrades is preferred
