What are the responsibilities and job description for the KYC/CIP Onboarding Analyst I position at Bradesco Bank?

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Review new prospect accounts and KYC/CIP documentation.
- Ensure and deliver a high standard of quality reviews for the KYC/CIP documents and make sure all information adheres to the bank’s policies and procedures and compliance regulations.
- Communicate with relationship managers and internal departments regarding KYC/CIP requirements.
- Arrange, prepare, document, and facilitate the process to approve account opening documentation.
- Develop a good understanding of the overall KYC, CIP, due diligence process to support daily responsibilities.
- Conduct account maintenance reviews and facilitate the approval process for updates or changes to existing accounts, ensuring compliance with KYC/CIP and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies to management in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of all assigned requests; from receipt through execution through COS, share folder, logs, or other available reports.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to produce accurate and quality work under established procedures and supervision.
- Assist in conducting accounts post reviews, daily monitoring system input, and reconciliation processes.
- Assist the VP, Deputy AML-CFT Officer, on updating and providing unit reports to assist with SLAs.
- Maintain accurate logs and tracking reports as assigned.
- Support process improvements initiatives as assigned.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Education:
- 1-3 Years or relevant experience (Preferred)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred; education may be substituted with extensive banking compliance experience and knowledge.
- Proficient in the compliance requirements of BSA, AML, CFT, and OFAC Preferred.
- Good understanding of Due Diligence and local Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Language:
- Speak, read, and write English, Spanish (Fluent).
- Portuguese (Preferred).
