Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a formal setting, possess knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our members and guests through attentive service and knowledge of our menu offerings.
Duties
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor tables for member and guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and banquet areas.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure member and guest safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Culinary experience or fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
