**PRN Position**
Position Purpose |
The Ultrasound Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities, performs ultrasound procedures, exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, provides patient care essential to Ultrasound procedures, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures, establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and the Medical Staff. |
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Sonography, either hospital based or college degree program. Associates of Applied Sciences or above. |
Experience: Competency in components of Medical Imaging practice as appropriate. |

Working Conditions |
Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning personal, financial, medical and employment status of patients of HCCH and their families. Must follow accepted safety practices for patients and hospital. Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs.
