Job Summary
Supports and completes property’s maintenance programs including annual, preventive, and routine maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
- Follow company safety standards and report issues.
- Monitor and complete work orders to meet tenant expectations including:
- Appliance repair
- Addressing plumbing issues
- Changing air filters and light bulbs
- Drywall repair
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Other maintenance requests and issues as needed
- Complete weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance schedule.
- Assist in and complete snow removal and grounds care as needed.
Additional
- Assist in cleaning, apartment change overs process, etc.
Supervision of Others
- None
Work Environment
- Typically work is performed in an apartment complex setting.
- Frequent work in hot and cold environments.
- Occasionally work is performed in an office setting.
Physical Demands
- Able to sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to move freely around work sites.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Able to work in cramped attic areas.
- Able to work from heights.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
- Two or more years’ experience in maintenance, operations, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
- Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations
- Able to effectively multitask.
- Strong understanding of facility systems and maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interior and exterior paint, appliance repair, etc.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred
- Associate’s degree or technical/trade school certification in a related field.
