Summary:
Brabner and Hollon, Inc. is seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to play a critical support role in the successful execution of commercial construction projects. The Assistant Project Manager supports Project Managers with procurement, scheduling, project documentation, subcontractor coordination, and customer communication to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Essential Functions:

1. Support Project Managers with material procurement, order tracking, and project scheduling

2. Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, subcontractors, and customers to support project execution

3. Schedule deliveries and installations with contractors and field personnel

4. Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages

5. Create and maintain sales orders, work orders, and delivery schedules

6. Conduct job site visits as needed to verify conditions and support installation progress

7. Assist with collection efforts and project closeout activities

8. Maintain organized project records and documentation

9. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent education and relevant work experience will be considered.

2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills

4. Strong computer and technical proficiency preferred

5. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to review specifications, pricing, and project documentation preferred

6. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents preferred

7. Proficiency in Bluebeam preferred

8. Familiarity with commercial construction processes and project management software (Procore, Comsense, ERP systems, or similar) preferred

9. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly communicate verbally and in writing and must be able to see and hear in a typical office setting. The role frequently involves sitting, walking, standing, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with arms and hands.

Work Environment: This position operates primarily in a professional office environment routinely involving the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing systems. Occasional business travel to project sites may be required, which may involve exposure to active construction environments, including uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, construction equipment, and other jobsite conditions.
