What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Relations Intern - Fall Semester position at BR Public Relations?
From Grammy Award-winning musicians and global pop-up events to pioneering businesses and
multi-million-dollar attractions, we help turn our clients into blockbusters—and our interns into
stars.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking a for-credit internship with a respected and
dynamic national PR agency based in Manhattan. Our firm has been recognized by
Expertise.com as one of New York’s top PR agencies since 2017.
We have two for credit internship positions available beginning the week of September 1 st
through December 13 for students who can commit to working two days per week (excluding
Fridays). Interns will work from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This internship offers hands-on experience in all facets of entertainment and business public
relations, as well as the opportunity to work directly with the agency president. Interns will have
the opportunity to accompany the agency president and clients to media interviews—including
television appearances in studio—which can be a fun behind-the-scenes look at how PR works.
One of our clients is the global pop-up event Diner en Blanc, which is returning to New York
this fall. Our agency handles the national and local PR, and on the day of the event we run a
Media VIP Lounge at the secret location—providing a unique opportunity to experience high-
level event publicity firsthand. Our fall interns will have the unique opportunity to work on Dîner
en Blanc, an event that has become a global phenomenon, with more than two million people on
wait lists to attend worldwide.
We are seeking a bright, motivated student who is comfortable multitasking, works well as part
of a team, and enjoys taking ownership of individual projects. Previous internship experience
and some familiarity with the public relations or communications industry are preferred.
