Job Title – Digital Prepress Specialist
The Digital Prepress Specialist is responsible for pre-flighting digital customer files, preparing soft proofs, troubleshooting issues, and imposition of files for printing on digital toner and inkjet presses. The ideal candidate is responsible, has a high attention to detail and has experience with customer files.

Compensation is based on experience and starts at $21/hour.
Schedule: 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday with potential need for overtime during busy times.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Compare customer supplied file(s) and specifications from our OMS (Order Management System) for accuracy and errors.
- Preflight files and provide customer service with solutions for any issues
- Prepare pdf soft proofs for customer approval
- Impose files for production and specific machine
- Archive working and production files for future reprints
- Constantly assess your workload, keeping in mind priorities and deadlines
- Work with your team to improve procedures and workflows related to the prepress area.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the usage of Adobe Creative Suite in Mac environment
- Working knowledge of Quite Imposing, Enfocus, Pitstop and/or Switch preferred
- Attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of file transfer systems
- Trouble shooting/problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3 years in prepress
- Experience with digital book printing a plus
- Experience in print file preparation
- Working knowledge of digital print processes
