Job Title

Perfect Binder Operator

Operate and maintain Perfect Binder equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring high-quality finished products and meeting production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Operate Perfect Binder machinery effectively and safely according to production standards.
• Read and understand binding instructions and job specifications.
• Run machinery at established production speeds to achieve daily goals.
• Perform and document preventative and routine maintenance as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Perfect Bind quality issues.
• Ensure all machine safety devices are functioning properly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Train and support team members as needed.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve production quality concerns.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and unscheduled shifts when needed.
  
  

Extra Skills That Set You Apart

• Experience with PLC and fine mechanical adjustments preferred.
• Previous Perfect Binder operating experience.
• Experience within print manufacturing or bindery operations.
• Leadership or training experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.

Compensation: Based on experience Schedule: Full-Time | Production Schedule | Overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Continuous hand and wrist movement throughout shift.
• Ability to visually inspect products for defects.
