Front of House Team Member

Brühaven is a craft brewery and event taproom in Loring Park. We're a small team, so everyone on front of house does a bit of everything: pouring and talking beer, booking and running events, promoting what's happening in the taproom, and keeping the place spotless. If you like variety and taking ownership, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

Hospitality & Beverage Knowledge

• Welcome every guest and make them feel at home
• Know our beer, seltzer, NA and Brüwell functional beverage lineup well enough to give confident, personal recommendations
• Learn our ingredients, brewing process and flavor profiles
• Pour and serve drinks to our quality and presentation standards
• Handle cash, card and mobile payments quickly and accurately

Events

• Answer event inquiries, give tours of our event spaces and help book private events
• Set up and break down rooms for private events, trivia, darts league, D&D nights, markets and community events
• Set up the AV (projector, screen and mic) and troubleshoot it during events
• Act as the main point of contact for event hosts during their event

Promotion & Social Media

• Create and post content for our social channels, including events, new releases and taproom moments
• Promote upcoming events to guests in the taproom and online
• Bring ideas that help grow the Brühaven brand and bring new people through the door

Cleanliness

• Keep the bar, taproom and restrooms very clean at all times, not only at close
• Follow our opening, closing and regular cleaning checklists with no shortcuts
• Clean and organize glassware, equipment and service areas throughout your shift

What We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• A true all-rounder who's comfortable switching between bar, events, cleaning and content in the same shift
• Hospitality, bartending or event experience is a plus
• Comfortable with basic AV and tech troubleshooting, or eager to learn
• Social media savvy with an eye for good photos and video
• Strong communication skills, in person and over email
• Takes pride in a clean space and notices the details
• Self-motivated and able to work on your own
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Responsible alcohol service certification may be required

• $16.37/hr starting, plus shift tips

Schedule:

• Taproom hours are Mon–Thu 3–10pm, Fri 2–11pm, Sat 11am–11pm and Sun 11am–9pm. Opening shifts start 45 minutes before open. Subject to change throughout the year.
• Shifts include evenings, weekends and holidays. Private events can run late.
• Most staff work every other weekend, and we can adjust that based on your preference.
