Job Description:
This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling packages that typically weigh 15 - 75 lbs. If it weighs more than Team Lift will be required for your safety. It requires excellent customer contact skills and a lot of walking. As a driver helper, there may be opportunities to be trained and certified to be a delivery driver.
As a Driver Helper, you will not drive but will be scanning, loading, and assisting the driver in the delivery of packages
Driver Helper's workdays are (Monday to Friday) and sometimes weekends. The start time is 8:30 a.m. and typically ends at 5:00 p.m. Driver helpers must comply with FedEx appearance guidelines.
Requirements:
· Must pass a background check (no felonies or domestic violence convictions)
· Must be 21 years of age or older
. Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
· Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Compensation and Benefits:
. Starting pay $15.00 to $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
. Medical, Dental, and Vision, eligible on the first day of hire!
. 401k up to 4% match after completion of an eligibility period
. Two weeks of paid vacation after completion of an eligibility period
