Responsibilities
As a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safely navigating routes using a company-provided vehicle (P1000 & P1200 Step Vans) to transport packages to designated locations.
- Organize, load, unload, move, and carry packages. Performing heavy lifting as needed (up to 150 lbs.)
- Utilizing company electronics to scan, track, and manage deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with recipients during deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while driving and handling packages.
Pay & Benefits
We will pay you during training, and once self-sufficient, you will receive pay increases based on performance, up to $23/hr.

Schedule:
Full-time - Six (6) days a week during “peak season”
Full-time - Five (5) days a week during normal business operations
This is a day time shift. We start at 7:45am and your day concludes when you finish the route, typically around 4pm.
Location:
We operate out of the terminal in South Sacramento & service the Elk Grove area. The exact address of the terminal will be shared later in your application process.
Workload:
A typical route involves 30 miles of driving with 160 stops.

Qualifications:
- 21 years or older
- Clean driving record over the past three (3) years
- Clean criminal record over the past seven (7) years
- Valid California driver's license
- Pass mandatory background checks, drug tests (urine sample), and D.O.T. physical examination.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Relevant delivery driving experience
