Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility
- Assist with measuring and inspecting metal parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
- Interpret technical drawings and production documents to support accurate assembly and fabrication processes
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform assembly tasks, mechanical repairs, or adjustments as needed
- Support the setup and operation of assembly lines, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Manually handle heavy materials and components, following proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Follow safety standards rigorously, including safety protocol adherence, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement initiatives
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with warehouse operations or heavy manual handling is advantageous
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers
- Knowledge of manufacturing management practices and safety standards in production environments
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on an assembly line or in a production team setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with technical proficiency in manufacturing processes
