What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tasting Room Associate position at Bozzo Family Vineyards LLC?
If you're looking for a fun job in the wine industry where you can educate consumers about wine, engage in really interesting and good-natured conversation, all in a mountain vineyard environment in beautiful Loudoun County, VA, then you should work with us. You will pour our award winning wines, describe their attributes, serve light foods, work fun events, and work with the owner and winemaker, tasting room manager & other experienced wine educators in our tasting room.
Prior tasting room or equivalent experience is required and you must be at least 21 years old. You must also be able to lift a case of wine (about 40 lbs), be trained on and operate our point of sale system, stock wine, perform light cleaning and sanitizing in our tasting room, and take and pass the VA ABC responsible alcohol server training course (free online).
Work is part time and at will on weekdays & weekends in the afternoons to early evening. Our current hours are W-F, 3-6, Sa-Su, 12-6. Hours are subject to change. We expect the person hired for this position will alternate weekdays or weekends with existing staff and work 2-4 days/month.
