RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare patients for orthodontic exams and treatments
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures
- Take and process digital radiographs (including panoramic images)
- Take scans and orthodontic records
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances and assist with adjustments (training provided as needed)
- Provide patient and parent education on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment plans
- Document clinical notes accurately in patient charts
- Review and manage schedules to ensure appropriate appointment flow
- Set up and break down operatories before and after procedures
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform basic lab work and assist with appliance preparation
- Restock supplies in operatories and sterilization areas
- Support patient consultations and follow-up scheduling
- Maintain infection control standards and office cleanliness
- Participate in office events, celebrations, and community service projects
