What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Tech position at Bozard Ford Co?
The primary objective for Facilities is to in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Service Techs. Facilities Techs also assist in making minor repairs and some preventive maintenance.
Job Duties includes:
- Use of floor scrubber in shop area to clean service bays (training provided)
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Collect cardboard in shops and place in baler
- HVAC filter replacement
- Maintenance on all battery operated equipment
- Remove trash from shops and exterior of campus
- General cleaning of shop sinks, lifts and walls
- Collecting used tires and place in tire pick-up area
- Collection of used oil and fuel filters and place in proper collection containers
- Landscaping
- Complete assigned work orders
- Reporting any potential hazards or damage to supervisor
- Additional items assigned by the Facilities Manager and Director
The ideal candidate will subscribe to our positive work environment, be a great team player, have a good personality, positive attitude and great work ethic. Facilities is a 40-hour work week position with some occasional overtime.
We require a valid Florida driver's license at the time of appointment to this position, Knowledge of basic hand tools and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
