Summary:
Assist the Chief Financial Officer with entering and balancing daily receipts and accounts payable. The work schedule will be determined by the Chief Financial Officer to meet the requirements of the essential job functions. All employees of Boysville, Inc. receive training in the company's Quality Improvement (QI) activities and are required to actively participate in QI meetings, task, projects, and committees as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform accounts payable data entry using Financial Edge.
- Monitor and report discrepancies in Provider Statements accounts to TDFPS.
- Process vendor payments by verifying federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Record daily income and revenue entries.
- Oversee cable and telephone accounts, coordinating repairs and service needs.
- Order and maintain office supplies as needed.
- Manage copier repair and supply ordering.
- Provide backup telephone support as needed.
- Assist in directing guest to the appropriate staff members.
- Provide backup support in distributing, balancing, and maintaining the Children's Allowance accounts.
- Manage and report discrepancy Provider Statements account to TDFPS.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Must possess excellent communication, organization, mathematical, and time management skills.
- Must be computer literate in windows applications. Must exhibit behavior that demonstrates cultural diversity and sensitivity (See Corporate Policy #2103).
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods at a desk while working on a computer.
- Strong communication skills with staff, residents, families, vendors, support agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
- Ability to respond promptly to telephones and other auditory stimuli.
- Quantitative and mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding of standard measurements.
- Ability to read, write and converse in English.
