JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Job Title:  Boys Town Title I Summer School Teachers

Job Code:  2506

Number of Days Worked:  34 half days (some full days may be needed)(8-1), Mon-Thur,  June

2nd – July 29th, those new to Boys Town Summer School - up to 2 extra full days for training 

Department:  Boys Town

FLSA Status:  Non-exempt

Immediate Supervisor: Title I Administrator, Matt Rohlfsen

Staff Supervised:  None

Compensation:  $40/hr

 

Essential Requirements: 

  1. No history of child abuse or negligence
  2. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree/NE Teaching Certificate 
  3. Professional experience helpful
  4. The assigned duties of this position are not eligible for remote work consideration.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook
  2. Assumes responsibility to Title I Administrator, ESU #3, and Boys Town for the curriculum delivered in the course
  3. Maintains an organized and welcoming environment for students
  4. Demonstrates use of social skills instruction
