- Collaborates with the mentor teacher to plan and implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Instructs students in whole-class, small-group, and individual settings.
- Uses various instructional strategies and technologies to support diverse learners.
- Assesses student progress through formal and informal assessments.
- Reflects on teaching practices and participate in regular feedback sessions with the mentor teacher and university supervisor.
- Manages classroom behavior effectively and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Participates in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events when appropriate.
- Maintains confidentiality and follow school policies and ethical standards in education.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Willingness to receive constructive feedback and apply it to improve teaching practice.
- Currently enrolled in a teacher education program required.
- Completion of relevant coursework in pedagogy, child development, and curriculum design required.
