What You'll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Plan and oversee daily afterschool programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.
- Build a Team: Recruit, supervise, and coach site staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture (maintaining a 1:15 ratio).
- Partner with the Community: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with school administrators, teachers, and families to support student success.
- Ensure Excellence: Manage site budgets, attendance reporting, grant compliance, and maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment for everyone.
- Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
- Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Hours may vary slightly by site)
- School Year: August 1 - May 31 (Summer program opportunities vary by area)
What You Bring
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities with limited supervision.
- CPR/First Aid Certification and Food Handler Permit (or the ability to obtain within three months).
- Valid driver's license (if operating BGCUC vehicles).
- Preferred: Experience working with youth ages 5β18, staff supervision experience, and proficiency in Google Suite.
