This position is summer only, 30 hours per week at Jupiter Elementary School.
The 21st CCLC Program Coordinator's primary function is to serve as the designated school lead educator for the program in order to assist the Club Director and 21st CCLC Teachers with planning and implementing a comprehensive education and youth development program that enables members to succeed academically, acquire 21st century skills, execute recruitment and retention plans, and develop a secondary and post- secondary education plan.

Key Roles (Essential Responsibilities)
- Ensures the success and operation of the 21st Century Community Learning Center educational program at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County and school site.
- Assists with academic and enrichment curriculum selection and coordination.
- Works collaboratively with the 21st Century Community Learning Center team to ensure that objectives and expected outcomes are met.
- Administers surveys and assessments, as needed.
- Maintains consistent communication with Club Director and 21st CCLC Teachers.
- Supports 21st CCLC Teachers in performing their essential responsibilities.
- Assists with the coordination of collecting school data and report cards at the end of grading period and delivers them to the Club Director or 21st CCLC Project Director.
- Supports, directly or indirectly, teacher efforts in creating Project Based Learning curriculum/lesson plans.
- Administers 21st CCLC projects and after-school academic support programs to participating members.
- Participates in 21st CCLC staff meetings.
- Enforces Boys & Girls Clubs policies and program guidelines.
- Internal: Serves as liaison to the Principal or designated Assistant Principal
- Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise.
- External: Maintains contact and builds relationships with community groups, school staff and community volunteers, and donors to support program success.
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited, four-year university or college in a field related to
- Must have a valid Florida Teaching Certificate (for core academic instruction).
- Experience with Project Based Learning and curriculum development.
- Willingness to think outside the box; very energetic; a motivator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication & computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.
- Ability to use and incorporate computer based platforms.
- Experience working with ELL/ESOL students preferred.
