What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enhancement Instructor - Music & Recording Arts position at Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County?
This position is 4-8 hours per week in Wellington and Delray Beach.
Develop and implement a curriculum that will provide instruction and training for members of all ages and work at a variety of levels. Conducting a well- rounded program in Digital Arts such as Photography, Digital Media and Recording Arts by implementing programs that enable youth to become proficient in basic disciplines and apply learning to everyday situations.

Founded in 1971, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is a not-for profit youth development organization dedicated to promoting the educational, vocational, health leadership and character of boys and girls in a safe, nurturing environment. The Clubs provide more than a safe, fun and constructive alternative to being home alone -they offer a variety of award-winning developmental programs to help youth build skills, self-esteem and values during critical periods of growth. The twenty Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Palm Beach County serve more than 10,000 children ages 6-18. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is to inspire and assist all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Key Roles (Essential Responsibilities)
- Promote and stimulate interest in the arts and encourage participation by all members.
- Requisition needed supplies
- Plan and follow through on recognition program for youth completing specific programs
- Provide participant assessments, monitor participation and progress.
- Enforce Boys & Girls Club rules and program guidelines
- Ensure facilities, equipment and supplies are given proper care and maintenance
- Participate in staff meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Internal: Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer) Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
- External: Maintain contact and build relationships with community groups, schoolsexternal staff and volunteers, donors and others to recruit or to assist in resolving challenges.
- Florida Teaching Certificate a Plus
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word required),
- Strong organization skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
