The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country is seeking an organized, friendly, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our administrative team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, members, families, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
- Assist with member registrations, data entry, and document processing.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with donor acknowledgments, mailings, and special events as needed.
- Schedule meetings and maintain office calendars.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain confidentiality of member, donor, and employee information.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and telephones.
