What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Attendant position at Boyne Resorts?
Overview
At Boyne Mountain Resort, first impressions are everything — and our grounds team makes sure every guest's arrival, every walk between venues, and every view from the slopes is something worth remembering. We're looking for a team-oriented, hard-working team member to help us keep Boyne Mountain looking its absolute best, season after season. This is a physical, hands-on, outdoors-every-day kind of role. If you're someone who finds satisfaction in a clean walkway, or a flower bed that just looks right — we'd love to have you on the team.
As a Boyne Mountain team member, you'll enjoy ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts on food, beverages, retail, daycare, and much more! To learn more about Boyne Mountain Resort, employment perks, and employee testimonials, click here - Boyne Mountain Employment!

Responsibilities
What You'll Do

You take pride in your work and bring a positive, can-do energy to the job every day — whether the sun is shining or the weather has other ideas.• Excellence in Execution - Maintain Boyne Mountain's irrigation systems, ensuring lawns, plants, and landscaping are properly watered and healthy. Monitor and perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment so nothing sits broken and forgotten. • Long-Term Thinking - Care for the resort grounds with an eye toward long-term health and appearance — planting grass, shrubs, and bushes; applying fertilizer to enhance growth; pruning trees and shrubs to keep the landscape thriving for seasons to come.• Cut lawns using hand, power, and riding mowers; trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.• Use hand tools and landscaping equipment to maintain and improve the appearance of resort grounds.• Remove litter, rake debris, pull weeds, and backpack-blow walkways to keep all areas clean and guest-ready.• Identify and safely remove tree limbs that pose a safety hazard.• Other duties as assigned by the Grounds Supervisor.
