About the Job
Boyle Insurance Agency is seeking a dependable, client-focused Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our Memphis office near I‑240 & Poplar. This individual will play a key role on a collaborative, high-performing team responsible for servicing and supporting a growing portfolio of personal insurance clients.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys multi-tasking, solving problems, and building long-term client relationships. The Personal Lines CSR will work closely with internal team members and insurance carriers to ensure exceptional service, accuracy, and retention across personal lines accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal lines accounts including auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies
- Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication
- Assist clients with billing questions, payment processing, and coverage explanations
- Support clients through the claims process and act as an advocate when issues arise
- Prepare quotes and proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverages
- Maintain compliance with all Tennessee insurance regulations and agency procedures
- Document all client interactions thoroughly within the agency management system
- Build strong, lasting relationships that support client satisfaction and retention
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in personal lines insurance or a strong customer service background
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
- Dependable, team-oriented, and proactive in supporting agency goals
