The Opportunity
This position manages all aspects of assigned product development activity and other initiatives assigned by the Deputy Chief Operating Officer. The manager works directly with internal and external professionals to ensure that all processes and deliverables are completed correctly, properly approved, and accomplished on a timely basis. The complexity and unique aspects of each product require a dedicated person who works as a facilitator for the team and draws on each department’s specific skills to design and maintain deliverables for the products. The products have complex needs that require a high-level of organization and communication with a solid understanding of investment structures, marketing/capital raising strategies, budgeting and reporting, and project management skills.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the following responsibilities and communicate information to the team to ensure seamless execution:
- Project Management - For assigned projects and product launches, monitor and control project schedule, quality, and risk including budget and financial expense tracking. Develop long and short-range project objectives. Aid experienced Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Fixed Income Team Members to handle project scheduling or budgeting changes. Recommend changes to improve productivity, processes, and reduce costs. Coordinate and assist with related calls and meetings. Maintain and manage relationships with external vendors/stakeholders including scheduling and coordination of meetings. Supervise project resources. Respond to inquiries regarding all assigned projects. Maintain task list and all documentation of the project and deliverables. Provide project status updates in weekly and ad hoc meetings to various stakeholders. Maintain and document all project deliverables and correspondence.
- Product Development - Work with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer to coordinate the review and launch of new products; monitor new product launches including task forces, Gantt Charts, product budgets, and return models; provide reporting on new product launches to various committees. Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Business Leads to understand product launch needs and assist with product research. Coordinate handoff to normal operating teams post launch.

Education, Skills, Personal Characteristics and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or project coordination role
- Understanding of investment structures, products, and asset classes preferred
- Experience in product development preferred
- Client-service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills a must
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of internal and external parties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail a must
