Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders. Support project scheduling efforts and other construction management software to develop realistic timelines and monitor progress. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Contribute to cost estimating activities and construction estimating tools to help control project budgets. Facilitate site visits and inspections, gaining valuable hands-on experience with construction site operations. Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and milestones to keep all team members informed. Manage document control processes using Bluebeam and other digital platforms for efficient project documentation.
Skills
Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, is essential for success in this role. Strong understanding of project scheduling, construction estimating, and contract management will enable you to support project coordination effectively. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and site plans is crucial for accurate interpretation of design documents. Excellent time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks across multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
